COalition for Pain Education

COPE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with over 1000 members. COPE was developed by Drs Tong Joo (TJ) Gan and Sunil Panchal to meet the educational needs of physicians and other healthcare professionals in appropriately assessing and managing pain using current and emerging treatment options.

COPE is a uniquely collaborative interdisciplinary group of experts in pain research and medicine. In order to raise the standard of care for patients who suffer from pain, COPE strives to be the premier resource for pain management education among physicians. COPE embraces all aspects of pain research and clinical care. COPE provides physicians and other healthcare professionals with the latest information on medical research, diagnostic techniques, pharmacology options, and novel therapeutic interventions for the management of nociceptive and neuropathic pain.
